Bringing Textbooks to life

As an intern at New Valence Robotics my task was to create lesson plans using their 3D printers. The goal was to create a library of projects so students could interact with their lessons by holding the Colosseum or gaining physical intuition for fractions. Each lesson was accompanied by files for relevant parts so they could print the parts as needed. One of the more intensive plans incorporated servos and sensors to teach the students about robotics by building an animatronic snake.

The long term goal was to transition the school model into a developing world setting. Making learning materials available where they might be scarce and allowing them to be tailored to each classroom's needs.
