Full production Run of 50 yoyos

Throughout the semester my team and I designed and manufactured 100 yo-yos, and the Yoyodeler was born. To bring our yodeler to life we utilized tools such as additive manufacturing, mills, lathes, thermoforming, and injection molding. Quality control checks were run to ensure our final product was meeting specifications and to understand where our process could be improved for high volume production.

I was primarily in charge of the thermoformed mountain base but worked on other tooling and production as well. Due to the low production volume and complexity of the shape, we utilized 3D printing to make a SLA male mold.
